General Questions:
+ Can I ask for something that's not included in your packages?
You may certainly ask! Outside of our package deals, our hourly rate is $125/hr. If the project isn't aligned with our vision, or we don't feel it's a good fit, we can probably refer you to someone who might be a better fit.
+ What happens after I purchase a service package?
Once you fill in your info & submit your first payment, you’ll be asked to schedule a kickoff call where we can further discuss your needs. If you're still undecided, or want to chat with us before booking a package, click here to book an initial consultation.
+ Can I ask for a refund?
If after our initial kickoff call, we learn this collaboration is not a good fit, we will issue a full refund of your deposit. However, if the work has already been completed, we cannot offer refunds.
+ Can I ask for edits after the final files are delivered?
Our process includes several opportunities to make edits before the final delivery & by using tools such as Canva.com, Squarespace, and Shopify, we aim to empower our clients with easy to use tools, so you can make any needed edits as your brand evolves. If you still need professional help beyond the delivery date, you can book hourly consultation sessions for branding, web design, or digital marketing.
+ Who will I be working with?

+ Do you only work virtually?
We rarely do in-person meetings these days, and tend to work with clients that prefer working virtually. If your project could benefit from an in-person meeting or workshop, we're happy to make exceptions, but if we need to travel far to get to you, we'll need to ask for travel compensation.

Branding Package Questions:
+ What if I don't have a brand name yet?
We're happy to help! During our kickoff call, simply request to purchase a Naming Workshop as an add-on to your project. Please note: this will likely extend the project timeline. If you're not ready to purchase a Naming Workshop, we don't recommend using a placeholder name, because logo designs are often intrinsically bound to the brand name – meaning a simple "swap" is unlikely to work. For these cases we recommend using a pre-made branding template from our shop to start out, and later return for a full branding package once you're ready.
+ What if I want a complete Brand Guide (more than 2 pages)?
That would qualify as a Multi-Page Design, & can be included for an additional cost. Please make sure to request this and any other "add-ons" in our kickoff call.
+ Will I get the live files of the Branded Collateral Images?
Yes, but please note: these are meant to be visual representations of your branding. They are not final creative art, and often have dummy content or only showcase a portion of what the final design would be (only a section of a webpage, or only the front of the packaging for example)
Website Package Questions:
+ Will I need to provide the website content?
Unless you want dummy text, Yes, you must send us the content you would like us to include on any branded designs. To make this process easier for you, we offer content strategy workshops, which are included in some of our packages.
+ What platforms do you use to build websites?
We are proud Squarespace Circle members and Shopify Partners, and prefer working on those platforms (Squarespace & Shopify). We are no longer accepting WordPress projects, but we can refer you to other designers in our network.

Social Media Package Questions:
+ Does the Social Media Starter Kit include posting?
Nope. When we go over the strategy, we might briefly discuss our recommendations for post scheduling via the Later.com app, but if you want help with posting (aka: social media management) please select one of the other package options.
+ Can I ask for a refund?
If after our initial kickoff call, we learn this collaboration is not a good fit, we will issue a full refund of your deposit. However, if the work has already been completed, we cannot offer refunds. Please note that we will be helping you determine realistic goals when we discuss your social media strategy. Likes and follows are not always directly correlated with your goals (which vary for each brand), and for best results in your social media efforts, we always recommend a complete omni-channel approach. If you don't have a multi-channel approach set up for your business, we strongly recommend choosing our 3rd package for best results.
+ What platform / format are the social media templates designed in??
Your templates will be handed off as Canva.com templates, making them easily editable on the free Canva online app.
+ Will I need to provide the social media content?
It depends. We will brainstorm your strategy together, and the HIYO team is available to help with some of the content creation, using free stock imagery and information gathered form your existing materials (website, blog, etc). However, if the content is very specific, requires a brand shoot, or is meant to represent you as a "thought leader" we might need your help completing some of the content. Photoshoots & Video shoots are not included in the pricing but can be added as extras. The pricing will be determined case-by-case, and can range from $2,000-$10,000.
+ What platforms do you use to manage social media?
We use Later.com to manage your social media. For best results, we recommend purchasing at least a Business Starter Account (view Later.com plan options).
+ Can I ask for edits once the posts have been scheduled?
Our process includes showing you how to use the platform, so if you need a last minute change, you can go in and make the edit. Please note that for any social media requests, our normal business hours are applicable (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm excluding public holidays) and we will not be available for edit requests outside of those times.
Digital Marketing Package Questions:
+ Does the Facebook & Instagram Ads price include ad spend?
Nope! The ad spend will be determined individually, since all businesses have unique needs. Your ad spend also should fluctuate, to ensure you have a good ROI. We can help you determine a good starting point when we set your goals & ad strategy.
+ How many ads does the Facebook & Instagram Ads Package include?
It includes one ongoing campaign. We will test several creative options (A/B testing or Dynamic Ads) and make any necessary adjustments to your audience or budget, to ensure the campaign is optimized. The creative for the campaign may be edited each month, but if you need to start a new campaign, with different objectives (lead generation versus conversions for example) this would require the setup fee of $300 (+ your monthly management fee of $500).
+ Aside from Facebook/Instagram ads, can you also help with Google or Bing ads?
At the moment we only offer Facebook/Instagram ads management. We're happy to help with the graphics for Google Ads, and we can refer you to someone who can help manage those ads for you. Feel free to book a quick 15min chat or digital marketing 1-on-1 live training session.
+ What platforms do you use for email marketing?
We usually work with MailChimp, MailJet, Flodesk, or Squarespace Campaigns. If you're on a different platform, please check-in with us before booking. If we don't feel confident we can help, we can usually refer you to someone in our network.
Presentation Package Questions:
+ What program do you work with?
Deliverables are created on Keynote, but the final deck can be exported to Powerpoint, Google Slides, or PDF upon request.
+ What happens if I don't have an established brand logo, colors, or fonts?
First off, I will suggest you check out our Branding Packages of course! Alternatively, we're happy to select a brand color and font for you from what we have available at our disposal, but if you are looking for something specific you will need to provide a visual reference as a starting point and we will advise based on that.
+ Can I ask for revisions or changes?
All three packages include one round of revisions where you can request the changes you need as long as they fit within the package scope of work. If you need any further edits, you may request to add-on design hours at our hourly design rate or book long-term services by booking a retainer package.
+ I need custom graphics but I don't need all 25 slides designed, does that reduce your price?
At this moment, we only offer these packages for presentation design projects. If you need more slides designed than your package offers, you can either book multiple presentation packages, or you can request for the included slides to be designed first, and then add on additional work as needed using our hourly design rate after the first included delivery is completed and paid out. If you need less than the designated slide pages on your package designed, you may pay for the packages at full price and we will work with the amount of pages you have, or we might not the right fit for your needs.
+ Can you create a template without any content? Can you create an entire presentation without any content to start from?
We will not create a template with no content at all to start from. All our packages require you to provide a starting point "draft" of the presentation you need designed; but if you'd like to provide us with placeholder text and images that you plan on swapping out later on, we can work with that and will provide your final deliverables using your placeholder text and images.
